What are your hours? 

Clinic hours are Monday – Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM and Fridays 8 AM to Noon. Walk-ins are welcome and same-day appointments are usually possible. We are also available to members 24/7 by telephone, text, or video conference. Home or nursing home visits are available at no extra charge when determined appropriate and/or necessary by your healthcare provider.

What if I have a medical emergency?

You’re welcome/encouraged to call the provider to assess your situation. If the provider determines an ER visit is in order, the provider will call ahead to the on-call staff at the ER, forward records and labs and make sure the ER is prepared the moment you walk in the door.

Does Logan Clinic accept any insurance?

We do not. However, for the average person, we are equipped to handle 80-90% of your healthcare needs through your membership. And if you do need to see a specialist, we’re here to help coordinate your care. This means we will help ensure that you understand your options, so you can make the best decisions for your health.

Does membership include lab work or medication? 

While lab work and medication are not part of your membership fees, we want to do everything possible to ensure you have efficient and affordable access to the care you require. Lab work can be done in-clinic and is provided to you at cost through Quest Diagnostics. We are also typically able to offer the first three days of a new prescription free or at a very limited cost to get you started on your way to healing and to ensure there are no ill effects / interactions with that medication.

Will I benefit from direct primary care if I don’t require frequent medical attention?

Of course. Everyone benefits from a service tailored directly to them. That’s why we offer truly custom healthcare. We’re here for you if you’re sick or hurt, but we also help you proactively maintain good overall health. Every visit with us will be thorough, relaxed, and as long as you need to address your health concerns. The longer you’re our patient, the more we learn about your health and lifestyle, and the better we can help you maintain that health.

How can Direct Primary Care at Logan Clinic save me money?

You won’t have to pay a co-pay for office visits or routine physicals, and you’ll be able to avoid many visits altogether by sending your questions directly to us via email and text – something you won’t get from a traditional practice. More importantly, since you are getting this amazing care from us, you can cut way back on your insurance premiums. Most Direct Primary Care patients find a high-deductible, low-premium insurance plan so they’re covered in the case of a major health issue. But leave the rest of your healthcare to us.

What if I’m a Medicare patient already paying for Part D and a supplement?

Especially for Medicare patients, it’s important to stay on top of ongoing health issues with regular visits to a provider. This will help prevent the medical catastrophes that could make you lose your independence. As you age, we can help keep you in your home by making regular house calls and checking in on your welfare. As always, please check with your provider for ways we can make this affordable for those even on a very limited income.
